Paul was born and educated in the UK and is a qualified mechanical engineer having an extensive background in the construction equipment sector.

Having moved away from the pure engineering discipline, most of his professional career has been spent at a senior management level operating on a global basis, and closely aligned to marketing and general management.

Paul has over twenty five years of international experience across a wide range of disciplines, is considered as an Industry expert, and has operated in a number of roles in both private and multi-national companies.

Having joined Caterpillar (UK) Ltd in 2000 he has held several positions within the business and has been a main board Director since joining the company. Caterpillar Inc. has over 11,000 employees in the UK and has a global turnover in excess of $40 billion.

Paul is actively involved in the Construction Equipment Association (covering all UK manufacturers), he is also the co-Chairman of the International Business Group and sits on the Presidents Committee for European Construction equipment (CECE).
