Martin Blain joined Rolls-Royce plc in Sept 1980 as an apprentice draftsman. He completed his apprenticeship in 1984 and moved into a customer support role.

In 1989 Martin moved to the Sales profession and held sales roles in Europe, North America and Asia before becoming a Customer Business Director in 1999. Martin was appointed to the position of VP Marketing in 2006 and now holds the position of VP Marketing, Sales & Leasing for Civil Aerospace.

Martin is married with 2 daughters and lives in Derby.
