Mark Ridgway is Managing Director of Group Rhodes, a SME group of four engineering companies serving the metalforming, clayworking, aerospace and oil and gas markets respectively.

Underlining his long-standing commitment to manufacturing, Mark has recently been elected to the National Executive and Technical committees of the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA). He currently holds the position of Chair of the Associations Public Affairs committee, communicating the MTA’s message in both the political and economic arena. Mark has also recently completed a two year term in the Chair of the regional branch of the Institute of Clay Technology, the heavy ceramics division of the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining.

On a local level, Mark represents local business on the Inner Wakefield Partnership, sitting on the business grants panel, and is a Director of Wakefield First, the Development Agency for the Wakefield district. He is also a member of the Wakefield Way Steering Group, Wakefield’s response to the Northern Way Growth Strategy, which is focused on building a more entrepreneurial north.
