Diane Mynors was originally educated as a Physicist with a BSc in Physical Electronics, an MSc in the Science and Application of Electric Plasmas and a DPhil in the Modelling of Volume Ion Sources.
The MSc and DPhil were undertaken jointly at the University of Oxford and AEA Technology Culham Laboratory. She then moved to the University of Bath to work in the Manufacturing Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. After more than five years at the University of Bath Diane moved to the Brunel University’s then Department of Manufacturing and Engineering Systems working with manufacturing companies on a range of activities including lean/automated design, process simulation and traditional manufacturing processes.
In 2007 Diane Mynors moved to the University of Wolverhampton to Head the Department of
Engineering and Technology.
