Manufacturing Growth Framework - The new Framework will have a strong sectoral theme, and will provide a fresh approach in addressing the UK’s competitive advantages and weaknesses in manufacturing.
Designed Engineered and Made in Britain - Mark Prisk (Minister of State for Business and Enterprise), is very keen to promote excellence in British Design, Engineering and Manufacturing by displaying exhibits in the BIS HQ, 1 Victoria Street, London. The first theme entitled 'Engineering Supply Chain’ is planned for September that will include a JCB digger specially painted to promote the Help for Heroes campaign.
National Low Carbon Vehicle 2010 - Over the years LCV has grown considerably and is now regarded as the largest Low Carbon Vehicle event in the UK, if not Europe, and attracts around 1500 visitors over the two days of the event.
There are also editorials on a number of important issues including Strategy for Sustainable Growth and Local enterprise partnerships (LEP's).
