Yorkshire Forward (YF)

Yorkshire Forward is the regional development agency for the Yorkshire & Humber region.

YF works across North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the northern part of Lincolnshire.

YF aims for Yorkshire & Humber include supporting people, helping businesses and improving places. It means taking a long-term approach to assuring business success and a high quality of life, whilst protecting our environment.

Yorkshire Forward has identified five priority sectors which are key to the economic growth and development of our region, so we're supporting them via targeted programmes. One of these is advanced engineering and materials (AEM) which is one of the region's largest activities. The region is recognised all over the world for it’s expertise in high-precision engineering, metals and alloy production, and the high-quality design and manufacturing of components for a wide range of global industries.
