Aerospace Wales Forum

The Aerospace Wales Forum covers companies located in Wales and involved in the aerospace and defence industry. This includes aircraft and systems manufacturing at all tiers, maintenance, repair and overhaul, testing, tooling, design, production equipment and professional services to the industry. Organisations that help support the industry are also eligible: financial institutions, consultants, universities, colleges, techniums and research centres. Also eligible are organisations that represent the broader aerospace and defence community, such as trade unions and government bodies. The Forum works in partnership with the UK's trade body ADS.

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC)

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) is a not-for-profit trade association acting as a facilitator of business between large global primes and the supply chain and as an enabler of business support to its members and partners. It is one of the largest and most established aerospace and defence associations in the UK, providing support to, and furthering the long-term strategic growth of the sector in the South East.

Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA)

The Midlands Aerospace Alliance was formed in 2003 to support and represent the aerospace industry across the Midlands region. MAA works closely with the regional development agencies as strategic partners, and shares with them the same vision for the future, to be ‘an internationally recognised, sustainable aerospace industry, creating wealth and opportunity for the whole Midlands region’.

The Midlands Aerospace Alliance, like the aerospace alliances in other UK nations and regions, works closely with the UK’s trade body, ADS.

The North West Aerospace Alliance is the flagship organisation representing companies and stakeholders involved in the North West Aerospace Cluster. The mission statement is: 'To provide a fully integrated support structure for North West Aerospace companies.'

The NWAA is responsible for shaping the industry through strategic thinking and delivery, by driving innovation and providing supply chain excellence and other business support programmes.

North West Automotive Alliance (NAA)

The Northwest Automotive Alliance was launched in March 2004 and is a 'not for profit' organisation that is industry led and comprises a strong board of senior managers from the key automotive companies in the north west region. NAA was established with the aim to raise the competitiveness and profile of the North West automotive sector. NAA works in strategic partnership with the Northwest Development Agency and networks with other national, regional and local initiatives. NAA aspires to be recognised as the focal point for representing, leading and supporting the regional automotive industry.

Welsh Automotive Forum (WAF)

The Welsh Automotive Forum (WAF) represents component suppliers in Wales who provide parts for the world's vehicle makers.

It’s objectives are:
To act as the voice of the automotive industry in Wales, performing a lobbying and influencing role with the Welsh Assembly Government and government funded bodies, to ensure that funding and support of the industry are focused, and match the needs of all players in the supply chain.
To influence the automotive sector strategy by networking and discussing global and local issues with industry leaders, UK and International Forums, government and government funded bodies.
To forge links and partnerships with other UK and International automotive forums, promoting the Welsh Capability, to achieve the development of collaboration and co-operative agreements between first, second and third tier suppliers.
To provide members with a value for money service which will enable networking, information dissemination and the use of best practice through organised events and conferences as well as by company visits.

West Of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF)

The West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) is a membership trade association that champions and supports the interests of the aerospace and defence industry in the South West of England. The forum leads the sector in delivering national supply chain initiatives, which connect the SME community to the Primes.

WEAF collaborates with partners like UKTI to provide critical support services such as export and marketing opportunities at major international trade exhibitions, like Farnborough and Paris. It also enjoys close links with the MOD.

Our aim is to facilitate an environment where companies can improve their competitiveness and grow the industry.
