Lotus Cars Ltd has two operating divisions: Lotus Cars, which builds world class, prestige, high performance sports cars; and Lotus Engineering, an automotive engineering consultancy that offers a full engineering service from initial concept and project design through to development and integration of the complete vehicle.
Lotus Engineering is committed to driving forward technology for both Lotus Cars and its engineering clients. In recent years, it has worked towards low carbon vehicles, spearheading research into such areas as hybrids, electric vehicles and renewable fuels.
